Dr. Swapnil Fuladi, DNB (CVTS), is a consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and head of the cardiac surgical department. He is involved in establishing and leading the department of cardiothoracic surgery at Akanksha Hospital. Prior to joining Akanksha Hospital, Dr. Swapnil served as specialist cardiothoracic surgeon at cardiac centre, Defence Force Hospital, Bahrain.

Dr. Swapnil received his medical degree from Maharashtra university of health sciences (MUHS), Nashik. He completed his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at prestigious Grant medical foundation’s Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. He was awarded with C S Sadasivan Gold Medal for the academic excellence in cardiothoracic surgery in presence of vice president of India in 2018.

He is highly regarded for his expertise in Beating Heart Coronary Bypass Surgery, having successfully performed over 1,500 of these procedures including total arterial revascularization surgeries, with equal proficiency in performing Valve Repair and replacement surgeries, and congenital heart defect surgeries. With more than 7 years of experience in managing complex cardiac cases, his efficiency is admired in handling high risk cardiac surgeries with co-morbidities.

These experiences gave him a deeper appreciation and sharpened his own skills in patient care, all while reinforcing his commitment to helping others with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with patients.
